Where to even begin. Sarah Spry is one of the best Idaho wedding DJs and coordinators I’ve ever worked with! We’ve known each other for a couple of years now and she is just coolest soul. Every time we get to work together it is just a blast!! She is also one of my go to models when I get an inspiration and every time she just slays!
I had the chance to interview Sarah for my new blog series! Check it out below!!
1.) What made you want to get into the wedding industry?
“My Mother was a wedding coordinator growing up and I started assisting her at 8 years old!! She didn’t just have me handing out pamphlets either lol, girl put me to WORK . So I learned weddings from a very young age and have always held the same passion, love, respect and appreciation for every single wedding day. I absolutely LOVE getting to be a part of the reason someone gets to say they had the perfect wedding day, because everyone deserves their ONE!”
2.) How long have you been in the industry?
” Technically – 21 years. Professionally- Coordinating for 11 years and DJing for 7 years.”
3.) What is your favorite part of a wedding?
” Groom’s face when the bride is walking down the aisle, when the dance floor is full and everyone is dancing and singing and you can truly feel the LOVE”
4.) Share one of your favorite memories of a wedding you worked
” Oh my gosh picking one is SO hard hahaha! One of my favorite memories is at the end of the evening, everybody jumped in the pool in their fancy clothes. The party was BUMPING, the lights were flying and the vibes were just immaculate! It was so fun to see like 30 people in a pool in dresses and suits haha.”
5.) What wedding trends do you predict for the 2025-2026?
” Family style seating (LOVE), Color in wedding dresses, monochromatic themes.”
6.) What is one thing you absolutely want your potential clients to know about you?
” Ya girl is here to bring the ENERGY! I am here to hype you and your whole crew to make sure you experience and FEEL every ounce of love you should on your most special day! I want nothing more than for my couples to feel like they were 1000% taken care of and never had to worry about anything.”
7.) What is your favorite time that we have worked together?
” Oh Amanda- we have done SO many fun things I can’t name just one. From modeling wedding outfits, to fun branding shoots, to absolute PERFECTION that came out of Nic & Kevin’s wedding- I just adore you and love every opportunity we get to work together! #DREAMTEAM “
8.) What is one goal you have for 2025?
” I would love to be a part of a s SUPER CRAZY, eccentric, themed wedding! I think that bringing the party to an event that is already a HUGE show would be an unbelievable amount of fun.
My continuing goal forever and always will be that I end each wedding day truly feeling like I’ve gave it every ounce of love, energy and respect it deserves. Every couple deserves to feel like they were taken care of on the day they’ve spent years dreaming about. I will ALWAYS do my VERY BEST to be that person for my people!”
