Fall is my favorite time of year and I just love when Halloween comes around, especially as a photographer! Its a season where so much creativity is in the air and a great way to do something a little different than a what I am usually shooting! Your following and cliental love it too! Like this couples Halloween photo shoot!
What I do first when planning a session like this is to create a huge mood board of everything I think would be fun or unique to do. From there I narrow it down and come up with a really solid idea that consists of location, colors, props, and potentially outfits/makeup!
Once I have my solid idea, I look for my Ideal models! For this shoot I went with my good friend Sarah and her husband Spencer who have modeled for me multiple times in the past and I just knew these two would have so much fun with this shoot! Sarah also does face paint make up too and a dress that was exactly what I was looking for so it was perfect!
The results of this halloween shoot preceded my expectations and I am so so happy I could do something super fun and creative and get to share it with all of you!

Something else really cool about this shoot that I did was I actually got an orange smoke bomb! When I picked this location along the cliffs I just knew adding a smoke bomb would make for a really cool affect! So of course I headed over to Smoke Effect because they have the best smoke bombs and the results were amazing!! Check it out!
I mean how fun does this look? I had a blast and Sarah and Spencer were as great as always! It was Spencer’s favorite shoot because he didn’t have to smile or do anything with his face hahaha. Photographers I highly recommend doing something like this! In any season! But Halloween is simply the most fun in my opinion!
