Here is a look into this insanely epic Pacific Northwest Elopement
This day was just an absolute vibe! I have always loved the Oregon coast and the dark & moody looks that come along with it! The PNW is seriously perfect for elopements and this epic Pacific Northwest elopement was such a dream for me! I drove from Boise so that was about a 12 hour drive but luckily I had my husband along side of me! Jess and Brad are from Portland and are just the sweetest couple! The choose Brookings for the location of their Oregon Coast elopement and it did not disappoint!
It was such a fun weekend full of love, hiking, exploring and some pretty epic views!
We started out at Jess and Brad’s VRBO that was located right on the beach and it was beautiful! We had the first look on their deck and then walked down to the beach for the sweetest ceremony! We did some bridal photos right there on the beach and then made our to the next location!
1.5 hours later we made it to The Lady Bird Johnson Trail of the Redwoods! I was super excited for this spot because I had never been to the Redwoods before, but it was super foggy! If we had gone in the afternoon it probably would have been much clearer but it was still cool! It did make for some pretty eerie photos though!
After the Redwoods we took a mid day break and decided to meet up at our next epic location that evening! Fast forward to the evening and we are off to our 3rd location, The Natural Bridges! If you are ever in Brookings this place is a must see! If you don’t want to hike they do have an observation deck to so you can see the natural bridges! We hiked down the trailhead so we can get the best photos possible! I’m not the greatest at hiking so this was a little bit of a challenge for me but I kid you not, Jess did this entire hike in her wedding dress! Talk about badass!! The hike was hard but the view was worth it!
Last stop on the adventure elopement tour is Whaleshead Beach! Every place we went to was amazing but I loved this last location! It was a huge beach with big rocks and the sun came out just in time for a gorgeous sunset! Definitely a location that just screams Oregon Coast!
Such a dreamy, beautiful, amazing, elopement weekend! This is why I love my job! Creating so many memories with couples and documenting their story it truly is the best job! Couldn’t ask for more!
